Mark J. Burkardt

Mark J. Burkardt is the son of J. Frances Burkardt and the late Walter A. Burkardt. He graduated from Greater Latrobe
High School in 1978. Burkardt earned his Bachelor of Science Degree
from St. Vincent College in 1982, and later earned a M.P.A. from
Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1992. Other
accomplishments and professional memberships include:
- Teacher Derry Area School District 1983-1985
- Derry Area High School Varsity Basketball Coach 1984-1988
- Unity Township Tax Collector 1986-present
- Member of the Westmoreland County and PA State Tax Collector
