Jacob M. Blank
Vice-Chairman Unity Township Board of Supervisors

Jake Blank states "Aesthetics, Quality of Life, and Character.  We understand that growth is inevitable, but I encourage our planning staff, our engineers, our legal staff, the planning commission, the zoning hearing board, the contractors and developers, and all those associated with the growth and development of Unity Township to bear these issues in mind, so we may all have an area in which to be proud.  We also need to improve our road infrastructure.  We are working closely with PennDot to rebuild Route 30, once again, encouraging context sensitive design that the original heritage corridor deserves.  We are also in the midst of a comprehensive plan for recreation, which will identify and recommend areas in our township that need improvements in recreation.  Having spent virtually my entire life in Unity Township,  I'm committed to maintaining the quality of life residents have enjoyed for generations.  We need to preserve the rural charm and pleasant lifestyle of our communities, with the hope that our children will be proud and will want to raise their families here................................it's all about unity"
