Bingo at Marian Hall in Crabtree

Every Sunday evening; Doors open at 5:30 p.m., early bird bingo begins at 6:30 p.m. with regular bingo beginning immediately after the early bird.  Each week features twenty-five regular games at 100 points, three quickie games, one progressive quickie game, one progressive jackpot game starting at 1000 points and one regular jackpot game at 750 points that must go every week.   A free bus from Greensburg, Delmont, Derry and Latrobe is available. St. Vincent Summer Theatre presents "Is he Dead"

July 1st to July 17th.  A preview performance will be at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, June 24. Performances will be at 8:10 p.m. June 25 and 26, June 29 and 30, July 1-3, 6-10, 13-15 and 17.  Three matinees are scheduled at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, Wednesday, July 7 and Sunday, July 11. Ticket prices are unchanged from the 2009 season. Individual tickets are $10 for preview performances, $18 on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings, $21 on Friday and Saturday evenings and $15 for matinees. Special theatre party group rates apply to groups of 20 guests or more. Senior citizens, 62 or older, are eligible for a $2 discount upon request on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings only. Special subscription plans are also available through Tuesday, June 22.  In addition, student tickets are available for $11 for any seat, any performance.  Saint Vincent Summer Theatre performances are all scheduled in the comfortable, air-conditioned Performing Arts Center of the Robert S. Carey Student Center on the Saint Vincent College campus. Free van shuttle service is provided to and from the spacious and convenient parking areas adjacent to the Saint Vincent Basilica.  A free brochure is available by contacting Colleen Reilly at (724) 805-2229 prior to May 17 and the Saint Vincent Theatre box office at 724 537-8900 after May 17.
Saint Bartholomew Festivities Honoring our Lady of Mt. Carmel

July 15th to July 18th.  A mass, procession and spectacular fireworks will highlight the July 15-18 festival tribute to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at Saint Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, PA.
 Festivities begin on Thursday, July 15, at 5:00 p.m. with Community Night, Art Show,  Car Cruise, Blessing of the Bikes and Candlelight Opening  Procession at 10 p.m. Live entertainment will be by Flashback.
On Friday, July 16, grounds open at 5:00 p.m. featuring a 5-K Race and Pie Social.   Entertainment will be by the Eric Barchiesi Combo and The Desperadoes.
Saturday, July 17, there will be an Outside Polka Mass at 4:00 p.m. with The Versa J’s Polka Band who will also play following mass.  Live entertainment will be by Saddle Up Band.   Crabtree Famous Fireworks Display at 10:30 p.m.
The festivities conclude on Sunday, July 18,  with a mass at 10:30 a.m. honoring our Lady of Mt. Carmel, procession and a battery salute.  There will be an Italian Heritage Dinner, advance ticket sales, in Marian Hall.   The grounds will be closed on Sunday.  Live entertainment, children's games and rides, delicious festival food and games of chance will be open Thursday,  Friday and Saturday evening of the festival.  The Rev. St. Vincent Basilica Parish Festival July 24th  to 25th; the hours are 6 PM - 10 PM on the 24th and Noon - 9 PM on the 25th at St. Vincent Grove.  For more information, contact Judy Regula at 724-539-8629, Ext. 10.
Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp at St. Vincent College July 31st - August 18th (no practice 8-7 & 8-13 to 8-15) at 2:55 PM at St. Vincent College.  Afternoon workouts generally run from 2:55 PM to 5 PM.  The campus opens to the public at 1:30 PM, when there is a 2:55 practice only.  Please remember that bad weather could cause practice to be cancelled without notice and the practice schedule is subject to change without notice.  For more information, please visit the Steelers website at: www.steelers.com.

Pittsburgh Steelers Night Practice at Latrobe Memorial Stadium August 6th at 7 PM at Latrobe Memorial Stadium.  Ticket prices are:  $5 for adults and $3 for students and Senior Citizens (65 and older).  Pre-sale tickets are available July 15th at:  Athletic Office at the Senior High School, Latrobe-Unity Parks & Recreation, and GLSD Administration Building.  All pre-sale tickets are non-refundable (including inclement weather).  For more information, contact Mark Mears at 724-539-4236.
